THE ART OF THE CAR CONCOURS (CORPORATION) IS A MISSOURI NONPROFIT CORPORATION THAT IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501 (C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986. SPECIFICALLY, THE CORPORATIONS' PURPOSES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE PROMOTION OF THE ARTS, THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, AND THE UNDERTAKING OF CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES. THE EVENT AND ACTIVITIES THAT THE CORPORATION UNDERTAKES WERE INITIATED BY THE CORPORATION'S FOUNDERS IN 2007 AS AN AVENUE TO PROMOTE THE KANSAS CITY ART INSTITUTE (KCAI), A MISSOURI NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER SECTION 501 (C)(3), AND TO SUPPORT ITS SCHOLARSHIP FUND . KCAI OPERATES AS A FOUR-YEAR, INDEPENDENT, FULLY ACCREDITED COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN WHICH OFFERS THE BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS DEGREE IN A VARIETY OF DISCIPLINES. THE CORPORATION WILL PROVIDE THEOPPORTUNITY FOR VINTAGE VEHICLE ENTHUSIASTS, MEMBERS OF THE ARTS COMMUNITY, THE KANSAS CITY GENERAL PUBLIC, AND TOURISM VISIT

SEE SCHEDULE OOVER 200 VINTAGE, CLASSIC, AND SPECIAL-INTEREST VEHICLES, INCLUDING CARS, TRUCKS, RACE CARS, MOTORCYCLES, AND PEDAL/ELECTRIC CARS BELONGING TO COLLECTORS FROM 15 STATES AND 79 CITIES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES WERE ON DISPLAY AT THE KCAI CAMPUS JUNE 26TH FOR THE TENTH ANNUAL ART OF THE CAR CONCOURS. ART OF THE CAR CONCOURS CONTINUED A MAJOR RADIO, TELEVISION, AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN IN THE KANSAS CITY AREA AND ALL MAJOR MARKETS IN MISSOURI, KANSAS, IOWA, AND NEBRASKA. THE ANNUAL EVENT HAD OVER 200 EXHIBITORS AND NEARLY 6,000 ATTENDEES FROM 32 STATES AND 3 COUNTRIES. MORE SPECIFICALLY, IN ADDITION TO A STRONG PRESENCE FROM WITHIN THE METRO AREA, SIGNIFICANT ATTENDANCE CAME FROM MISSOURI, KANSAS, IOWA, NEBRASKA, ILLINOIS, OKLAHOMA, TEXAS, COLORADO AND ARKANSAS.
