THIS REPORTING PERIOD THE INSTITUTE CREATED THE FOLLOWING LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS:SOUTHEAST FELLOWS PROGRAM: THE SOUTHEAST FELLOWS PROGRAM IS A ONE OF A KIND RIGOROUS MONDAY THRU SATURDAY PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIP TARGETING HIGH SCHOOL RESIDENTS AGES 16-18 WHO ARE JUNIORS AND SENIORS IN THE 2020-2021 ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR. THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT FOR COLLECTIVE PROBLEM SOLVING, SOFT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, CONFLICT NEGOTIATION, TEAM BUILDING, WORKFORCE CAREER MENTORING AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT TOOLS.CENTRAL VALLEY WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT PROGRAM: THE CENTRAL VALLEY WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT SUMMIT PROGRAM PROVIDES KNOWLEDGE ABOUT RESOURCES AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR A CROSS SECTION OF WOMEN PARTICIPANTS BY AGE, CULTURE AND INTEREST INCLUDING COLLEGE STUDENTS, SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS, NONPROFIT LEADERS, COMMUNITY LEADERS AND ELECTED OFFICIALS TO SUCCEED AND IMPROVE THEIR LIVES.
