HOPELAND PIONEERS INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS AND BUILDS NEW PARTNERSHIPS TO PREVENT FAMILY SEPARATION, REUNIFY CHILDREN WHO ARE SEPARATED FROM THEIR FAMILIES, AND MOBILIZE A MOVEMENT OF FAMILIES TO SUPPORT CHILDREN WHO ARE GROWING UP OUTSIDE OF FAMILY CARE. HOPELAND PLANS TO TEST WHETHER DIRECT CASH TRANSFERS TO FEMALE-HEAD HOUSEHOLDS CAN REDUCE THE RISK OR PREVENT PARENT/CHILD SEPARATION AND BRING CHILDREN PLACED IN ORPHANAGES OR LIVING ON THE STREETS BACK HOME.

TECHLINK: THROUGH A UNIQUE PUBLIC/PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP WE ARE PROVIDING AN INNOVATIVE STEM CAREER PATHWAYS PROGRAM FOR TRANSITION-AGE (I.E. HIGH SCHOOL) YOUTH IN FOSTER CARE. CALLED "TECHLINK," THE INITIATIVE WELCOMED ITS SECOND COHORT OF YOUTH IN FOSTER CARE IN JANUARY 2022 TO RECEIVE COMPUTER SCIENCE EDUCATION AS WELL AS A VARIETY OF OTHER SERVICES AND SUPPORTS, INCLUDING COACHING AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT.


FAMILY SEPARATION PREVENTION DEVELOPMENT IMPACT BOND - HOPELAND EXPENSES FOR THE PREVENTING FAMILY SEPARATION DIB COVER STAFF TIME TO DEVELOP AND REFINE THE PROGRAM'S OPERATIONAL DESIGN DOCUMENT WITH OUR PARTNERS, AND FOR WORK SOURCING FUNDING FOR THE PROGRAMMATIC DELIVERABLES. THESE DELIVERABLES WILL INCLUDE A DIRECT CASH PAYMENT TO TARGETED HOUSEHOLDS AND FAMILY STRENGTHENING TRAINING THAT AIMS TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE OF PARENT/CHILD SEPARATION.


ORPHAN MYTH - HOPELAND EXPENSES FOR THE ORPHAN MYTH CAMPAIGN COVER STAFF TIME FOR STRATEGY MEETINGS WITH PARTNERS, EXECUTION OF SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY AND CONTENT, AND DRAFTING OF NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE CONTENT AS AGREED IN MOU WITH ORPHAN MYTH. THROUGH THIS COLLABORATIVE EFFORT ORPHAN MYTH CREATED 107 MILLION SOCIAL IMPRESSIONS, 500,000 VIDEO VIEWS, AND RAISED $150,000 FOR THE ORPHANED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN SECTOR.


PROGRAMS TO RAISE CONSCIOUSNESS, MARSHAL RESOURCES, AND MOBILIZE CITIZENS TO ACT ON BEHALF OF CHILDREN LIVING OUTSIDE OF A SAFE, NURTURING, AND PERMANENT FAMILY.
