WELLNESS, HEALTH & WELL-BEING, FAMILY STRENGTHENING - SERVES ADULTS AND YOUTH AND OFFERS PROGRAMS THAT MEET THE CRITERIA SET FORTH BY NATIONAL PROGRAM STANDARDS IN HEALTH ENHANCEMENT AND WELLNESS. PROGRAMS INCLUDE INSTR. CLASSES, HEALTH ENHANCEMENT, PREVENTATIVE PROGRAMMING, NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION, LEAGUES AND SPECIAL EVENTS.
RESIDENCE CAMPS - UTILIZE OUTDOOR FACILITIES TO PROVIDE A QUALITY CAMPING PROGRAM FOR YOUTHS AGES 6-16, PROVIDE DEMOCRATIC LIVING, CHRISTIAN VALUES SUCH AS CARING, RESPECT, HONESTY AND RESPONSIBILITY, PROVIDE SELF-RELIANCE, HEALTH AND SAFETY ACQUIRING SKILLS, ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS.
YOUTH SPORTS - OFFERED TO YOUTH K THROUGH 12 IN THE COMMUNITY TO DEVELOP SELF-ESTEEM, SOCIAL SKILLS, PHYSICAL SKILLS, LEADERSHIP SKILLS, BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS, SUPPORT AND STRENGTHEN FAMILY LIFE, INTEREST IN HEALTH AND WELL-BEING, AND LIFETIME SPORTS SKILLS FOR OVER 30,000 YOUTH PARTICIPANTS. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND ASSET DEVELOPMENT ARE INTEGRATED INTO EACH ACTIVITY.
