STAGE DOOR PRODUCTIONS IS A COMPANY DEDICATED TO THE CREATIVE PROCESS. ESTABLISHING A SAFE, HEALTHY, AND CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT IS THE BACKBONE TO PERSONAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND ARTISTIC GROWTH. OUR ACCOUNTABILITY TO THE COMMUNITY DRIVES US TO PROVIDE SUCH OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH SO THAT ANY PERSON WILLING TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ARTISTIC PROCESS LEARNS THE PASSION TO LEAD AND THE HUMILITY TO FOLLOW. SUMMER CAMPS PROVIDED BY STAGE DOOR PRODUCTIONS PROVIDE STUDENTS GRADES 3 THROUGH 8TH THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONTINUE THEIR DEVELOPMENT WITH THE TOOL OF MUSICAL THEATRE. IT ALSO PROVIDES STAGE DOOR PRODUCTIONS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH OUR INTERNS (GRADE 9 THROUGH COLLEGE) OUR METHOD TO TEACHING.
SOME PARTICIPANTS OF OUR PROGRAM ELECT TO ATTEND THE JUNIOR THEATRE FESTIVAL IN ATLANTA GA PROVIDED BY THE ITHEATRICS TEAM. THIS FESTIVAL ENCOURAGES A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN AND GROW THEIR SKILLS IN MUSICAL THEATRE.
STAGE DOOR PRODUCTIONS CONTINUES TO PROVIDE "PAY WHAT YOU CAN" PERFORMANCES FOR ALL SHOWS. THIS MEANS THAT ANYONE, REGARDLESS OF THEIR INCOME SITUATION, CAN AFFORD TO SEE SHOWS. WE ACCEPT AND DONATION TO THE COMPANY TO SEE A SHOW, EVEN IF AN INDIVIDUAL OR FAMILY CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY A PENNY THEY ARE GIVE A TICKET. ALL MEMBERS OF THE GREATER MEMPHIS COMMUNITY CAN EXPERIENCE WHAT THE ARTS HAVE TO OFFER.
