DRAWING UPON SHAKESPEARE'S TIMELESS EXPLORATION OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT, ISLAND SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL STRIVES TO REFLECT, RENEW, AND REDEFINE THE DIVERSITY OF THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE THROUGH PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS, AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES BY PROVIDING FREE CLASSICAL THEATER IN INNOVATIVE AND COMPELLING WAYS, WE INTEND TO IGNITE THE POWER OF THEATER TO ILLUMINATE, INSPIRE, AND FOSTER OUR ABILITY TO LIVE, LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY, IN CONNECTION TO EACH OTHER.

PRESENTING LIVE OUTDOOR SHAKESPEAREAN THEATRE - IN 2021, DUE TO CAUTION CAUSED BY COVID INFECTION LEVELS AND NECESSARY STATE AND FEDERAL COVID PROTOCOLS, THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCED ONLY ONE LIVE THEATRE PRODUCTION. THE ORGANIZATION HAS PLANS TO RETURN TO THREE LIVE THEATRE PRODUCTIONS IN 2022.
