THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT TO SEVERAL INDIVIDUALS IDENTIFIED BY DES AND COUNTY AGENCIES WHO BENEFITED FROM ON-THE-JOB TRAINING, SOCIALIZATION IN A WORK ENVIRONMENT AND ENHANCED SELF-ESTEEM. THE ORGANIZATION HAS FOUR TO SIX WORKERS AT ANY GIVEN TIME. THE WORKERS, ALONG WITH THEIR SUPERVISORS, COLLECT A WIDE RANGE OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS FROM BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTS IN MONROE COUNTY, PA. AFTER COLLECTION, WORKERS SORT, SHRED, BIND, DISASSEMBLE, AND PREPARE THE MATERIALS FOR SALE TO RECYCLING COMPANIES.
