THE GORILLA REHABILITATION AND CONSERVATION EDUCATION (GRACE) CENTER, INC. IS THE WORLD'S ONLY SANCTUARY FOR GRAUER'S GORILLAS, A CRITICALLY ENDANGERED GORILLA SUBSPECIES IN DR CONGO. THE WILD GRAUER'S GORILLA POPULATION HAS DECLINED BY A CATASTROPHIC 80% IN THE LAST 20 YEARS.
