TO SUSTAIN HEALTHY WATERSHEDS THAT SUPPORT THRIVING COMMUNITIES AND STRONG ECONOMIES, DEMONSTRATED BY IMPROVED WATER QUALITY THROUGHOUT THE MAUMEE WATERSHED, THROUGH EDUCATION, COORDINATION, COLLABORATION, AND PARTNERSHIPS.

THE MWA AGAIN HOSTED A GOING GREEN FOR AG EVENT. THIS TIME THE EVENT WAS HELD AT A NEW LOCATION IN A DIFFERENT COUNTY, THUS GETTING SOME NEW PARTICIPATION. THE TURNOUT WAS SLIGHTLY LESS THAN THE EVENT HELD PREVIOUSLY, WITH APPROXIMATELY 60 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. AS IN RECENT YEARS, THE MWA ONCE AGAIN PARTICIPATED IN THE ALLEN COUNTY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT'S ANNUAL SOIL HEALTH FIELD DAY. ATTENDANCE WAS ONCE AGAIN SLIGHTLY LESS THAN PREVIOUS YEARS, WITH APPROXIMATELY 120 PEOPLE PRESENT. THE DECLINE IN PARTICIPATION MAY BE CONTRIBUTED TO THE SIGNIFICANT DECLINE IN THE OVERALL FARM ECONOMY. SEE SCHEDULE O FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
