TO INSPIRE YOUNG PEOPLE TO BE SCIENSE AND TECHNOLOGY LEADERS, BY ENGAGING THEM IN EXCITING MENTOR-BASED PROGRAMS THAT BUILD SCIENCE, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS, THAT INSPIRE INNOVATION, AND THAT FOSTER WELL-ROUNDED LIFE CAPABILITIES INCLUDING SELF-CONFIDENCE, COMMUNICATION AND LEADERSHIP.

GEORGIAFIRST WAS ABLE TO RETURN TO IN-PERSON COMPETITION FOR THE FIRST ROBOTICS COMPETITION (FRC). AFTER A TWO YEAR HIATUS, DUE TO THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC, OUR PREMIER PROGRAM WAS ABLE TO BE RESTARTED WITH A SUCCESSFUL FIVE EVENT SEASON THAT SERVED OVER 3,000 HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH IN GEORGIA. WE ALSO EXPANDED OUR OFF-SEASON EVENT PROGRAMS TO INCLUDE TWO COMPETITION EVENTS FOR FRC, ONE EVENT IN JULY AND ONE IN THE OCTOBER/NOVEMBER. THESE TWO EVENTS SERVED OVER 2,500 HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH FROM GEORGIA AND SURROUNDING STATES. FURTHER, WE COMPLETED A SUCCESSFUL MOVE TO A PERMANENT RENTAL LOCATION THAT ALLOWS FOR TRAINING FACILITIES, MEETING SPACE AND STORAGE.
