AID AND SUPPORT THE NORTH HILLS FIGHTING INDIAN MARCHING BAND WITH MUSICAL INSTRUCTION AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH A SUMMER BAND PROGRAM, A WEEK-LONG BAND CAMP EXPERIENCE, AND A FALL PERFORMANCE SEASON OF FOOTBALL GAMES, BAND FESTIVALS, COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND PARADES. THE NHIPA'S SUPPORT INCLUDES SUPPLEMENTAL MUSIC INSTRUCTION COSTS, PERFORMANCE SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT/INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR, AND HOSPITALITY AND WELLNESS FOR THE STUDENTS DURING REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES.


TO AID AND SUPPORT ALL INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC GROUPS IN THE NORTH HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT ARETA "MS. K" KALOGERAS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS FUNDED BY THE ESTATE OF ARETA KALOGERAS. THIS SCHOLARSHIP WILL BE AWARDED TO TWO SENIOR MEMBERS OF THE NORTH HILLS SCHOOL DISTRICT INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC PROGRAM FOR EXHIBITING THE PRIDE, TRADITION AND EXCELLENCE ON WHICH THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN BUILT. THE SCHOLARSHIP IS LIMITED TO 500 PER STUDENT.


AID AND SUPPORT THE NORTH HILLS FIGHTING INDIAN MARCHING BAND AND NORTH HILLS HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC ENSEMBLES (WIND BANDS, JAZZ BANDS, ORCHESTRAS) THROUGH TRAVEL EXPERIENCES WHICH PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES BY PERFORMING AT NATIONAL VENUES AND EXPERIENCING INSTRUCTIONAL MUSIC CLINICS AND ADJUDICATIONS WITH RENOWNED MUSIC PERFORMERS AND EDUCATORS.


SUPPORT THE NORTH HILLS COMMISSION SERIES, WHICH ANNUALLY SELECTS AND COMMISSIONS A COMPOSER TO CREATE A NEW MUSICAL WORK FOR ONE OF THE NORTH HILLS HIGH SCHOOL ENSEMBLES, PROVIDING STUDENTS WITH THE EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY OF PARTICIPATING IN THE COMPOSITIONAL PROCESS AND THEN PERFORMING THE WORK'S WORLD PREMIERE. THE COMMISSIONED WORK BECOMES PART OF THE NORTH HILLS HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC ENSEMBLES' ONGOING REPERTOIRE OF UNIQUE, HIGH-QUALITY MUSICAL LITERATURE FOR STUDENT INSTRUCTION.
