BIRTHMATTERS REDUCES TEEN PREGNANCY THROUGH REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH EDUCATION AND EMPOWERS EXPECTANT YOUNG ADULTS TO RAISE HEALTHY FAMILIES THROUGH DOULAS UTILIZING THE COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER MODEL. BIRTHMATTERS BELIEVES THAT OUR STRENGTH IS THE COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER MODEL. IT SERVES THE HARD TO REACH POPULATION, OFFERS COMFORT, TRUST AND ORGANIZATIONAL CONFIDENCE WITH THE COMMUNITY. AS THE LEAD ORGANIZATION STRIVING TO REDUCE TEEN BIRTH RATES IN SPARTANBURG, WE ARE COMMITTED TO PREVENTING UNINTENDED PREGNANCIES IN SPARTANBURG AND SUPPORTING THE MOST VULNERABLE YOUNG ADULTS WITH DOULA SUPPORT.
