THE EXEMPT ORGANIZATION SUCCESSFULLY OPERATES DEER CREEK FARM WHERE PARTICIPANTS IN OUR MENTORING PROGRAM ARE EMPLOYED IN RAISING PRODUCE FOR FOOD AND SALE. ADDITIONALLY, A RETAIL STORE IS OPERATED AND PROVIDES A VENUE FOR TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT FOR DISADVANTAGED AT-RISK YOUNG ADULTS. ALL AVAILABLE PROCEEDS FROM THE FARM AND THE RETAIL STORE ARE USED TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE STATED MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION.


A THRIFT STORE IN ROCKLIN, CA HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED AND IS OPERATING TO PROVIDED EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISADVANTAGED, AT-RISK YOUNG ADULTS. THE PROCEEDS FROM THE THRIFT STORE ARE USED TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE STATED MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION.


THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES TRAINEE AND COUNSELING PROGRAMS, WHICH INCLUDE EMPLOYING AT-RISK YOUNG ADULTS WHO HAVE AGED OUT OF FOSTER CARE AND HAVE TRANSITIONED INTO ADULT LIFE. THESE PROGRAMS SPECIALIZE IN PROVIDING THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN JOB AND LIFE SKILLS.
