THE MISSION OF THE BUNCOMBE COUNTY SERVICE FOUNDATION IS TO ENHANCE BUNCOMBE COUNTY BY STRENGTHENING SERVICES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE HEALTH, WELLNESS AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ITS CITIZENS.

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT: A PROGRAM FOR ENHANCING COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TOWARD BUNCOMBE COUNTY SUSTAINABILITY GOALS TO STRENGTHEN THE QUAILTY OF LIFE IN THE AREAS OF COMMUNITY, ECONOMY, AND ENVIRONMENT.
COMMUNITY NAVIGATORS: CREATED TO STRENGTHEN A COMMUNITY'S CAPACITY TO HELP MEET CITIZEN NEEDS, IDENTIFY, MOBILIZE AND LEVERAGE UNIQUE COMMUNITY ASSETS, EMPOWER CITIZENS AND COMMUNITIES AS CHANGE AGENTS TO PROMOTE POSITIVE OUTCOMES, BUILD AND ENHANCE COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS, REDUCE OVER UTILIZATION OF MORE COSTLY SERVICES. ALSO USED FOR URGENT AND EMERGENCY NEEDS.
