HIGH COUNTRY HUMANE TRANSFORMS LIVES BY PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL ANIMAL CARE AND ADOPTION SERVICES, SUPPORTING AND STRENGTHENING THE BOND BETWEEN PETS AND PEOPLE, AND ADVOCATING FOR THE WELL-BEING OF ANIMALS.

WE COMPLETED OUR THIRD CONTRACTUAL YEAR WITH THE CITY OF FLAGSTAFF AND COCONINO COUNTY IN 2021. WE WELCOMED 3,553 ANIMALS AND ADOPTED OUT 2,089 ANIMALS INTO NEW HOMES. WE ARE RUNNING A ROBUST FOSTER PROGRAM AND 2,016 ANIMALS WERE CARED FOR BY OVER 597 VOLUNTEER FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE COURSE OF THE YEAR. OUR MEDICAL CLINIC PERFORMED 2,704 SPAY AND NEUTER SURGERIES INCLUDING 690 OF THEM FOR PUBLIC CLIENTS AND MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY. WE VACCINATED 1,090 ANIMALS DURING OUR SEMI-MONTHLY VACCINE CLINICS AND WE ALSO PROVIDED FREE PET FOOD TO 3,136 ANIMALS IN 2021.
