LOCATED ON U.S. ROUTE 66. MISSION IS TO PRESERVE AND DISPLAY ANTIQUE AUTOMOBILES, AS WELL AS EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AS TO HOW TRAVEL IN THESE VEHICLES AFFECTED CHANGE IN THE UNITED STATES.

THE MUSEUM HELD SEVERAL FREE ADMISSION WEEKENDS FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC, TO ALLOW GROUPS AND FAMILIES THAT OTHERWISE COULD NOT AFFORD ADMISSION, AN OPPORTUNITY TO TOUR THE MUSEUM AND LEARN ABOUT HOW AUTOMOBILE TRAVEL ON ROUTE 66 CHANGED THE UNITED STATES.


THE MUSEUM OFFERED VISITORS A CHANCE TO RIDE IN A 101-YEAR-OLD PACKARD CONVERTIBLE. THE RIDES LAST ABOUT 30 MINUTES EACH AND OFFERED PARTICIPANTS A GLIMPSE INTO HOW AMERICANS TRAVELED ROUTE 66 IN THE 1920S.


PROVIDED THE MUSEUM FACILITIES FOR FREE TO THE ROUTE 66 MOTHER ROAD FESTIVAL TOUR. THE MUSEUM ACTED AS A REST STOP DURING THEIR ROUTE 66 DRIVING TOUR.


THE MUSEUM ALLOWED SCHOOL GROUPS TO TOUR THE FACILITY FREE OF CHARGE TO INTRODUCE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN TO EARLY TRAVEL IN THE UNITED STATES.
