DURING 2022 THE JERRY LOYOLA FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS COMMITMENT TO JR. GOLF ACTIVITIES. THE FOUNDATION MAINTAINED ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH ISSAC WIENTRAUB A PGA TEACHING PROFESSIONAL TO CREATE A JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM ALLOWED 40 JUNIORS TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY GOLF. THE JERRY LOYOLA FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO SEEK MORE PERSONAL CONTACT WITH PATIENTS FIGHTING CANCER. THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IMPACT EASED ITS EFFECT ON THE FOUNDATION'S FUNDRAISING. WE GAVE OUT MORE THAN LAST YEAR. THE FOUNDATION ASSISTED 51 PATIENTS VIA CONTACT WITH PALO ALTO MEDICAL FOUNDATION, KATZ CANCER RESOURCE CENTER, DOMINICAN HOSPITAL HOME HEALTH CARE, CENTRAL COAST ONCOLOGY AND ENTRE NOSOTROS WOMEN'S SUPPORT GROUP. THE TOTAL DIRECT AMOUNT OF ASSISTANCE WAS 33,899.60. THE 33,899.60 WAS IN THE FORM OF 600 IN FOOD CARDS, 800 IN GAS CARDS, 13,920 IN RENT ASSISTANCE, 11,550 IN QUALITY-OF-LIFE ASSISTANCE, 4,836.29 IN JUNIOR GOLF. 473.31 UTILITY PAYMENTS, 520.00 IN TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE AND 1,200 IN MISCELLANEOUS PAYMENTS. THE JERRY LOYOLA FOUNDATION HAS GIVEN SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS IN FOUR COUNTIES SANTA CRUZ, SAN BENITO, MONTEREY, AND SANTA CLARA COUNTIES.
