BIG SKY CODE ACADEMY:THIS PROGRAM OFFERS LOW-COST PART-TIME AND FULL-TIME CODING BOOTCAMPS FOR ADULTS. SCHOLARSHIPS WERE OFFERED FOR WOMEN, VETERANS, NATIVE AMERICANS AND LOW INCOME STUDENTS. THIS PROGRAM ALSO OFFERED FREE TRAINING TO CURRENT UNIVERSITY STUDENTS. THERE WERE 6 PARTICIPANTS IN THE PROGRAM DURING 2018.

MONTANA CODE GIRLS OFFERS EVENTS AND PROGRAMS TO MONTANA'S KIDS AND YOUNG ADULTS INTERESTED IN TECHNOLOGY. WHETHER IT'S LEARNING TO CODE THROUGH OUR MONTANA TECHNOVATION CHALLENGE TEAMS OR OUR WEEKEND CODING BOOTCAMPS, MONTANA CODE GIRLS IS ON A MISSION TO INSPIRE AND EMPOWER INTEREST IN STEM. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE AFTER SCHOOL CODING CLASSES FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS. STARTED IN 2016, THE PILOT PROGRAM SERVED 28 PARTICIPANTS IN MISSOULA WHO SUCCESSFULLY TOOK PART IN THE GLOBAL TECHNOVATION CHALLENGE. DURING 2018, THERE WERE 85 PARTICIPANTS.
MONTANA TEACHERS TEACHING TECH:STARTED IN LATE 2016 IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CODE.ORG, THE PROGRAM BRINGS FREE COMPUTER SCIENCE TRAINING TO K-12 TEACHERS IN MONTANA WITH HOPES TO EXPOSE ALL STUDENTS TO CS AND IMPROVE ADVANCED PLACEMENT CS EXAM NUMBERS. DURING 2018, THERE WERE 135 PARTICIPANTS.
