BURLYCON'S PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE ONGOING OFFER CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, PANELS, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS THAT FURTHER PROFESSIONAL SKILL AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE ART FORM OF BURLESQUE. IN 2021, WE CONTINUED TO CREATIVELY OFFER OUR EDUCATIONAL TEAM MEMBERS TO PROVIDE CLASSES VIRTUALLY AS COVID-19 DID NOT PROVIDE US THE ABILITY TO MEET IN PERSON. WE HOSTED INSTRUCTORS FROM ALL AROUND THE GLOBE IN THREE 3-DAY CONFERENCES, PROVIDING LIVE VIRTUAL LEARNING. WE EXPANDED ON THESE OFFERINGS BY KEEPING ACCESSIBLE RECORDINGS OF THE CLASSES ONLINE FOR 30 DAYS AFTER EACH CONFERENCE. BEING ABLE TO PROVIDE NETWORKING, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY DURING THESE EXCEPTIONALLY DIFFICULT TIMES WAS TRULY A GIFT.
