GREATER KANSAS CITY SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR: HELD ANNUALLY IN MARCH AT UNION STATION. PROVIDES A FORUM TO DISPLAY SCIENCE RESEARCH CONDUCTED BY AREA 4TH - 12TH GRADE STUDENTS.
OTHER SCIENCE EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDING MENTORING PROGRAMS, SATURDAY SCIENCE SEMINARS, STRATEGIC STEM INSTRUCTION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS.
STRATEGIC STEM INSTRUCTION: SIMILAR TO SCIENCE WISE COURSES INCORPORATING NEXT GENERATION SCIENCE STANDARDS AND FOCUSING ON HANDS-ON TEACHING METHODS, EXCEPT THESE ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO SCHOOLS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS UNDER CONTRACT.
