CANDLELIGHTERS SUPPORTS SERVES AND ADVOCATES FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WITH CANCER SICKLE CELL AND OTHER BLOOD DISORDERS THEIR FAMILIES LONG TERM SURVIVORS BEREAVED FAMILIES AND THE PROFESSIONALS THAT CARE FOR THEM. PROGRAMS INCLUDE YOUTH & SIBLING SUPPORT FAMILY SUMMER CAMP FAMILY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE DREAM NIGHT PROM AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT. THE 37TH ANNUAL CANDLELIGHTERS FAMILY CAMP HOSTED 100 CAMPERS IN 2022 ON MT LEMMON FOR AN OVERNIGHT THERAPEUTIC CAMP EXPERIENCE FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER THEIR SIBLINGS AND PARENTS. CANDLELIGHTERS WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO 66 FAMILY MEMBERS WITH A REFERRAL FROM THE PEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY SOCIAL WORKER IN 2022 AND WE FILLED 142 CHILDRENS GIFT WISHES FOR OUR HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. YOUR HELP TO KEEP CANDLELIGHTERS INLINE AND COMPLIANT IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED WE COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP.
