HOUSE OF HOPE IS A REGISTERED CHILDREN'S HOME THAT PROVIDES A SAFE, LOVING HOME FOR ORPHANED OR ABANDONED CHILDREN UNTIL THEY REACH YOUNG ADULTHOOD. CARE INCLUDES MEETING THE PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF OUR CHILDREN IN A FAMILY SETTING. THE GOAL IS TO LOVE OUR CHILDREN AND PREPARE THEM FOR ADULTHOOD, SO THEY CAN GROW AND THRIVE IN HAITIAN SOCIETY. HOUSE OF HOPE IS A REGISTERED CHILDREN'S HOME FOR AGES 3-18. HOUSE OF HOPE IS SUPPORTED THROUGH CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS AND GENEROUS DONORS.HOUSE OF HOPE OPERATES AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR OUR CHILDREN AND NEIGHBORHOOD FAMILIES AND A YOUTH PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES BIBLE TEACHING AND NEIGHBORHOOD OUTREACH. SHORT-TERM MISSION TEAMS ARE HOSTED, AS NEEDED. VOLUNTEERS TRAVEL TO HAITI TO OFFER UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES, SKILLS, OR TRADES THAT MAY NOT BE READILY AVAILABLE OR ACCESSIBLE IN HAITI. EXPENSES FOR THESE TEAMS DO NOT COME OUT OF OPERATING FUNDS OR OTHER DONATIONS.PATTI'S SCHOOL IS AN ON-SITE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THAT OFFERS PRE-K THROUGH SIXTH GRADE EDUCATION TO THE HOUSE OF HOPE CHILDREN, AS WELL AS CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY. PATTI'S SCHOOL OPERATES WITH CHRISTIAN VALUES AND PRINCIPLES. THE SCHOOL OFFERS A SAFE AND RELIABLE PLACE FOR CHILDREN TO LEARN. 123 STUDENTS WERE REGISTERED TO ATTEND THIS YEAR, BUT DUE TO UNREST AND COVID, ATTENDANCE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70.
