PROVIDE RELIEF SERVICES THAT REDUCE HUMAN SUFFERING IN THE WORLD. PROVIDE CLEAN DRINKING WATER THROUGH DRILLING WATER WELLS; COLLECT, SHIP, AND DISTRIBUTE, FOOD, CLOTHING, MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT; PROVIDE AGRICULTURE AND EDUCATION TRAINING AND SUPPLIES.

DISASTER RELIEF ASSISTANCE. THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC CREATED A DEMAND FOR FOOD RELIEF. CONTAINERS OF FOOD AND FOOD SUBSIDIES WERE PROVIDED TO INDIA, HAITI, AND MANY COUNTRIES IN AFRICA. HHI RESPONDED TO TYPHOON CHAMPI IN JUNE, 2021 AND TO AN EARTHQUAKE IN HAITI IN AUGUST, 2021. IN HAITI, HHI EMPLOYEES USED MATERIALS AVAILABLE LOCALLY TO REBUILD OVER 50 SHELTERS. SHIPPING. HHI SHIPPED 19 CONTAINERS TO 10 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, HONDURAS, LESOTHO, NAMIBIA, NICARAGUA, NIGERIA, PANAMA, SOUTH AFRICA, ZAMBIA, ZIMBABWE. WOMEN OF HOPE. PROJECTS IN MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES IMPACTED ALMOST 1,000 WOMEN. IN A YEAR CONTINUING TO RECOVER FROM THE PANDEMIC, WOMEN OF HOPE ON THE ROAD SERVED OVER 400 WOMEN. EDUCATION. THE EDUCATION PROGRAM IN HAITI CONTINUES TO THRIVE AFTER A TRANSITION TO NATIVE TEACHERS


WATER DEVELOPMENT - PROVIDING CLEAN DRINKING WATER TO PEOPLE IN UNDER-DEVELOPED AREAS OF THE WORLD. WATER DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES IN 2021: 163 NEW WATER WELLS WERE DRILLED IN 9 COUNTRIES: ETHIOPIA, ZAMBIA, ZIMBABWE, HAITI, INDIA, KENYA, GHANA, MALAWI, AND NIGERIA, 267 BROKEN WATER WELLS WERE REPAIRED AND RETURNED TO A STATUS OF FULLY FUNCTIONING. WALK4WATER: 48 W4W EVENTS; FUNDED 87 NEW WATER WELLS.


M.A.G.I. - (MAKING A GODLY IMPACT) CHRISTIANS FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES PACK SHOE-SIZE GIFT BOXES TO BE DELIVERED TO CHILDREN IN NEED, BOTH PHYSICALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. THE M.A.G.I. BOX PROJECT STARTED IN 1997 WITH THE FIRST GIFT BOXES DELIVERED TO CHILDREN IN ROMANIA. SINCE THEN THE GIFT BOX MINISTRY HAS MADE A GODLY IMPACT IN 8 COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD. OVER 315,000 M.A.G.I. BOXES HAVE BEEN DELIVERED TO CHILDREN LIVING IN POVERTY. THE MAJORITY OF M.A.G.I. BOXES ARE GIVEN TO LOCAL CHURCHES AND MISSIONARIES TO DISTRIBUTE IN THEIR IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES. IN 2021, 26,000 M.A.G.I. BOXES WERE SHIPPED TO CHILDREN IN HONDURAS, ZAMBIA, AND THE TEXAS/MEXICO BORDER. A NEW PROGRAM, "SPONSOR A BOX," PROVIDED FUNDS FOR IN-COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVES TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS FOR THE MAGI BOXES LOCALLY, THEREBY SUPPORTING THE LOCAL ECONOMY AND SAVING ON SHIPPING COSTS


AGRICULTURE - HEALING HANDS INTERNATIONAL PROVIDES AGRICULTURAL WORKSHOPS AROUND THE WORLD TEACHING LOCAL CHURCH AND COMMUNITY LEADERS HOW TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR NUTRITIONAL NEEDS. OVER THE COURSE OF TWO DAYS TRAINEES ARE TAUGHT SURVIVAL GARDENING TECHNIQUES USING DRIP IRRIGATION, RAISED GARDEN BEDS, COMPOSTING AND MULCHING, SEED TRANSPLANTING AND BASIC GARDEN MANAGEMENT. THE GOAL IS TO EMPOWER THESE INDIVIDUALS TO PROVIDE FOR THEMSELVES; TO OFFER A MORE LONG-TERM SOLUTION BY GIVING THEM A HAND UP, INSTEAD OF JUST GIVING THEM A HAND OUT. IN 2021, HHI TRAINERS COMPLETED 176 WORKSHOPS TRAINING 7,685 PEOPLE. SINCE THE INCEPTION OF THE PROGRAM IN 2000 OVER 47,000 PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TRAINED IN PROVIDING FOOD FOR THEMSELVES.
