VETERAN OF FOREIGN WARS POST 3976 MISSION IS TO PROMOTE VETERANS ADVOCACY, HISTORY, EDUCATION AND COMMEMORATION, ENCOURAGING NATIONAL SECURITY THROUGH SUPPORT OF OUR NATIONS MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM AND BY PROMOTING GOOD CITIZENSHIP AND COMMUNITY SERVICE.

ESSAYS REGARDING PATRIOTISM AND THE VOICE OF DEMOCRACY ALONG WITH TEACHER ACHIEVEMENT WERE HANDLED BY THE COMMITTE. THE WALL OF HONOR PLAQUES WERE SOLD FOR THE WALL OF HONOR. PATRITISM PENS WERE ALSO HANDED OUT.


MEMBER FUNDRAISING MEALS PROVIDING OPERATING REVENUE AND HELPED TO ACHEIEVE HELPING OF VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN NEED. ALSO HELPED MEMBER FAMILIES WITH FINANCIAL HARDSHIP ISSUES. A HOG ROAST BBQWAS HELD FOR THIS FUNCTION.


MEMBER FUNDRAISING INCLUDING MEALS PROVIDED OPERATING REVENUE AND HELPED TO ACHEIEVE VETERAN FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THOSE IN NEED. FUNDS WERE RAISED TO HELP THE FAMILIES IN THIS PROGRAM. BUDDY POPPIES WERE SOLD FOR THIS PURPOSE. FLAGS WERE PLACED IN THE SCHOOLS TO HLP FOSTER PATRIOTISM AMONG THE YOUTH AND SUPPORTING THE YOUTH OF AMERICA. CHRISTMAS STOCKING STUFFERS WERE ALSO PROVIDED AND CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR THE NEEDS IN THE COMMUNITY WERE PLACED.
