TO HONOR, EDUCATE, & PROMOTE THE STATE'S AMATEUR BASEBALL PLAYERS AND COACHES.

ATHELETE SHOWCASES - ALL-STAR WEEKEND AND UNDERCLASS WORKOUTS. ALL-STAR WEEKEND IS 160 PLAYERS FROM AROUND THE STATE GATHERED FOR A WEEKEND OF BASEBALL CLINICS AND GAMES. UNDERCLASS WORKOUTS IS EIGHT ONE-DAY, PRO-STYLE WORKOUTS HELD AT SEVEN COMMUNITY COLLEGES FOR 700 HIGH SCHOOL UNDERCLASSMEN. ALL-STAR TEAM MEMBERS ARE CHOSEN FROM THESE EVENTS.


ANNUAL "FIRST PITCH" DINNER. THE ANNUAL DINNER OFFERS AMATEUR ATHLETIC SUPPORTERS, ATHLETES AND THEIR FAMILIES THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET AND VISIT WITH FORMER MLB PLAYERS AND COACHES AND HEAR A MLB CURRENT OR FORMER COACH OR PLAYER TALK ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES.


COACH CONVENTION. 300-350 HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE COACHES GATHERED FOR A WEEKEND OF GAME FUNDAMENTALS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES THAT CULMINATE WITH AN AWARDS BANQUET.


SEVERAL SMALLER PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR REACH YOUTH, MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL, AND JUNIOR COLLEGE ATHLETES AND COACHES WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE BASEBALL SKILLS, FIELDCARE SKILLS, AND COACHING SKILLS.
