THE WESTERN IOWA TOURISM REGION SERVES VOLUNTEER GROUPS, ATTRACTIONS, AND EVENTS IN A 36 COUNTY REGION IN WESTERN IOWA BY PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, EDUCATONAL PROGRAMS, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES, AND BY SERVING AS THE CENTRAL COMMUNICATION OFFICE FOR REGIONAL TOURISM, DEVELOPMENT, AND PROMOTION. WESTERN IOWA TOURISM REGION HOSTS A MINIMUM OF 5 WORKSHOPS RELATING TO TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION THROUGHOUT THE REGION, HELP TO PROMOTE REGIONAL ATTRACTIONS AND EVENTS ON OUR WEBSITE, AND DEVELOP REGIONAL TRAVEL GET-AWAY OPTIONS TO PROMOTE TO TRAVELERS.
