THE ASSOCIATION INITIATES AND SUPPORTS STATE AND FEDERAL LEGISLATION TO ENHANCE AND SAFEGUARD THE OCCUPATION AND LIVES OF CAREER FIREFIGHTERS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO SPONSORS LEGISLATION TO CREATE BETTER FIRE SAFETY LAW IN IOWA.
THE ASSOCIATION ACTIVELY PURSUES ADJUSTMENTS IN THE MUNICIPAL FIRE AND POLICE RETIREMENT SYSTEM ON BEHALF OF THE MEMBERSHIP.
