THE ILLINOIS FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING EXCELLENCE IN THE FIRE SERVICE BY PROVIDING AN INFORMATION-SHARING NETWORK AND BY OFFERING EDUCATIONAL, LEGISLATIVE, AND TECHNICAL OPPORTUNITIES TO OUR DIVERSE MEMBERSHIP AND ASSOCIATED PARTNERS.

1) CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS ON MATTERS OF CURRENT CONCERN TO FIRE SAFETY,SUCH AS LABOR RELATIONS, COMPUTERIZATION FIRE SAFETY EDUCATION. 2)SERVICE BUREAU - TEST APPLICANTS FOR PROMOTION OR NEW EMPLOYMENT IN AREA FIRE DEPARTMENTS. 3) GONG MAGAZINE - PUBLISHED QUARTERLY FOR MEMBERS AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES. PROVIDING INFORMATION AND SUPPORT FOR LEGISLATION AFFECTING THE ILLINOIS FIRE SERVICE CONSULTING SERVICES FOR FIRE DISTRICTS AND DEPARTMENTS.
