AWARENESS: INCLUDING PROGRAMS SUCH AS SLEEP AWARENESS WEEK, DROWSY DRIVING PREVENTION WEEK, EDUCATIONAL BROCHURES THAT ARE DISTRIBUTED TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH NSF LICENSED PARTNERS, SLEEP SHOW, AND THE NATIONAL SLEEP FOUNDATION WEBSITE PROPERTIES WWW.SLEEPFOUNDATION.ORG, WWW.SLEEP.ORG, AND OTHERS.


EDUCATION: ACCREDITED BY THE ACCREDITATION COUNCIL FOR CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION (ACCME) TO PROVIDE SLEEP HEALTH CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION TO PHYSYCIANS WITH LIVE AND ENDURING ACTIVITIES, AND TOOLS FOR PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS.


RESEARCH: INCLUDING THE SLEEP HEALTH INDEX, A PROPRIETARY TOOL OF THE NATIONAL SLEEP FOUNDATION THAT MEASURES THE NATION'S SLEEP HEALTH ON THREE KEY SCALES: SLEEP DURATION, SLEEP QUALITY, AND SLEEP DISORDERS. THE INDEX IS FIELDED QUARTERLY AND HAS ACCUMULATED RESPONSES FROM OVER 12,000 AMERICAN ADULTS. ALSO INCLUDES PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE SLEEP IN AMERICA POLL, A NATIONAL POLL THAT PROVIDES VALUABLE INFORMATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND SLEEP COMMUNITY ON SPECIFIC TOPICS OF INTEREST, AND POPULATION HEALTH-RELATED ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS NSF RECOMMENDATION DEVELOPMENT, CONSENSUS PANELS, WORKGROUPS, AND DATA ANALYSIS.
