THE AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION, GENERAL E.W. RAWLINGS CHAPTER, WAS ESTABLISHED FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. THE ASSOCIATION IS TO ENGAGE IN ADVANCE, SUPPORT, PROMOTE, AND ADMINISTER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES, CAUSES AND PROJECTS; AND TO AID, ASSIST, AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUPPORT OF CORPORATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS, TRUSTS, FOUNDATIONS, AND INSTITUTIONS THAT ARE ORGANIZED FOR THAT PURPOSE.

VISIONS OF EXPLORATION - EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SUPPLY THE USA TODAY NEWSPAPER TO 200 JUNIOR HIGH CLASSROOMS IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA FOR AEROSPACE EDUCATION AND MATHEMATICS.


SCHOLARSHIP AND SUPPORT - PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS AND SUPPORT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA, ST. THOMAS UNIVERSITY AND LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL ROTC DETACHMENTS. GRANT 10 TO 15 SCHOLARSHIPS EACH YEAR.


MINNESOTA AVIATION DEPARTMENT - PROVIDE SUPPORT TO MINNESOTA AVIATION DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNDER PRIVELEDGED HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN FOR A WEEK OF EDUCATIONAL TRAINING TO LEARN HOW TO FLY THROUGH THE UTILIZATION OF FLIGHT SIMULATORS. SPONSOR 15 YOUTHS PER YEAR.
