TO AID AND ASSIST AFFILIATED LOCALS, THEIR MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY SUCH AFFILIATED LOCALS IN OBTAINING AND EXTENDING THE BENEFITS OF MUTUAL ASSISTANCE AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, THE IMPROVEMENT OF WAGES, HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS AND TO PROMOTE THE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNORGANIZED TEACHERS AND EDUCATION SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL INTO LOCALS OF THEIR OWN CHOOSING FOR THEIR MUTUAL AID, PROTECTION AND ADVANCEMENT; TO AID MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES REPRESENTED BY THE WISCONSIN EDUCATION ASSOCIATION COUNCIL AFFILIATED LOCALS IN OBTAINING IMPROVED WAGES, HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS AND TO PROMOTE THEIR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL NEEDS BY EVERY LAWFUL MEANS; TO PROMOTE HIGH ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR THE EDUCATION PROFESSION; TO PROVIDE FOR THE EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ADVANCEMENT OF THE MEMBERS OF ITS LOCAL MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS AND THE WEA, INC.
