SEVENTEEN MATCHING GRANTS FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION OF BARNS WERE APPROVED FOR PAYMENT UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROJECTS. ONE PRIOR YEAR GRANT REVERTED BECAUSE THE GRANTEE COULD NOT MEET GRANT REQUIREMENTS.
TWO ISSUES OF THE IOWA BARN FOUNDATION MAGAZINE WERE DISTRIBUTED PROVIDING INFORMATION ON ITS BARN PRESERVATION MISSION AND A BOOK WAS PUBLISHED PROVIDING INFORMATION ON BARNS THAT WERE PRESERVED.
