AGING AND ADULT SERVICES PROGRAM - THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING 1-B ALLOCATES AND MONITORS FUNDING TO SUPPORT A VARIETY OF HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES INCLUDING NUTRITION (CONGREGATE AND HOME DELIVERED MEALS ALSO KNOWN AS MEALS ON WHEELS) THAT SUPPORTS ADULTS AND CAREGIVERS AGE 60 AND OLDER TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE. THIS INCLUDES UNBIASED INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE TO HELP INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH UNDERSTANDING THEIR CARE OPTIONS.


MI CHOICE PROGRAM - THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING 1-B SUPPORTS THE CARE OF OLDER ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES WHO QUALIFY MEDICALLY AND FINANCIALLY FOR THE FEDERAL AND STATE MEDICAID LONG-TERM CARE PROGRAM TO ACCESS A VARIETY OF HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES DESIGNATED TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE PERSONAL INDEPENDENCE.


MI HEALTH LINK PROGRAM - THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING 1-B WORKS UNDER CONTRACT WITH INTEGRATED CARE ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO PARTICIPANTS REFERRED TO THE AGENCY BY THE ICOS.
