ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS IS A FELLOWSHIP OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCE, STRENGTH AND HOPE WITH EACH OTHER THAT THEY MAY SOLVE THEIR COMMON PROBLEM AND HELP OTHERS TO RECOVER FROM ALCOHOLISM. THE ONLY REQUIREMENT FOR MEMBERSHIP IS A DESIRE TO STOP DRINKING. THERE ARE NO DUES OR FEES FOR AA MEMBERSHIP; WE ARE SELF-SUPPORTING THROUGH OUR OWN CONTRIBUTIONS. AA IS NOT ALLIED WITH ANY SECT, DENOMINATION, POLITICS, ORGANIZATION OR INSTITUTION; DOES NOT WISH TO ENGAGE IN ANY CONTROVERSY, NEITHER ENDORSES NOR OPPOSES ANY CAUSES. OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO STAY SOBER AND HELP OTHER ALCOHOLICS TO ACHIEVE SOBRIETY.

THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF THE GROUPS AND MEMBERS, AN A.A. CENTRAL OFFICE IS THE SERVICE OFFICE FOR THE GROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY. WE AID THE GROUPS IN THEIR COMMON PURPOSE OF CARRYING THE A.A. MESSAGE TO THE ALCOHOLIC WHO STILL SUFFERS. WE PROVIDE ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS A LISTING IN PHONE DIRECTORIES, REFER CALLERS TO NEARBY A.A. GROUPS &/OR HAVE SOMEONE CONTACT THEM, MAINTAIN A WEB SITE & PUBLISH UP-TO-DATE DIRECTORIES WITH CONTACT & MEETING INFO, FUNCTION AS A CLEARING HOUSE FOR THE EXCHANGE OF INFO AMONG ALL THE A.A. GROUPS IN THE COMMUNITY & THOSE IN THE COMMUNITY SEEKING INFORMATION ABOUT A.A. WE TRACK GROUPS WITH ACCESSIBILITY ACCOMMODATIONS.
