AMERICAN COLLEGE OF EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS PROMOTES THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF EMERGENCY CARE AND IS THE LEADING ADVOCATE FOR EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS, THEIR PATIENTS, AND THE PUBLIC.

PROVISION OF CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION IN THE FORM OF MEETINGS AND PUBLICATIONS TO ENSURE EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS CAN PROVIDE THE MOST CURRENT AND EFFICIENT EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE TO THEIR PATIENTS.
DEVELOP CLINICAL POLICIES; MONITOR PRACTICE AND REIMBURSEMENT ENVIRONMENTS; WORK WITH ACADEMIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE TO ENHANCE RESIDENCY TRAINING; MONITOR, ANALYZE AND SUPPORT EMS AND DISASTER PREPAREDNESS SYSTEMS IN THE US; WORK WITH AMA AND OTHERS IN ORGANIZED MEDICINE TO ENSURE EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS HAVE THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION WITH WHICH TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY CARE TO PATIENTS.
