MEMBER SERVICES: OSMA WILL SERVE OKLAHOMA THROUGH COLLABORATION, COOPERATION AND COMMUNICATION AMONG PHYSICIANS AND STRATEGIC PARTERS. OSMA WILL PROMOTE QUALITY HEALTH CARE FOR ALL OKLAHOMANS. OSMA WILL BE A LEADING RESOURCE FOR CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION FOR PHYSICIANS. OSMA WILL BE THE LEADING RESOURCE FOR HEALTH CARE POLICY. OSMA WILL BA A QUALITY RESOURCE OF HEALTH EDUCATION FOR PATIENTS. OSMA WILL PROMOTE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGHOUT THE CAREER CONTINUUM. OSMA WILL PROMOTE PHYSICIAN WELL-BEING AND RESILIENCE. OSMA WILL PROMOTE STRATEGY FOR ORGANIZATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY.


LEGISLATIVE: OSMA HAS A MEDICINE DAY AT THE STATE CAPITOL WHERE PHYSICIANS INTERACT WITH STATE LEGISLATORS. BILLS ARE EXAMINED THROUGH THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS TO SEE CAUSE AND EFFECT OF THOSE BILLS. OSMA ADVICES THE LOBBYIST GROUPS ON HEALTH CARE ISSUES AND WHETHER TO SUPPORT OR NOT TO SUPPORT.


PUBLIC HEALTH ADVOCACY: OSMA SUPPORTS PROGRAMS SUCH AS COUNCIL ON PUBLIC AND MENTAL HEALTH AND PHYSICIANS CAMPAIGN FOR A HEALTHIER OKLAHOMA.
