ASSIST THE IZAAK WALTON LEAGUE IN ALL ITS ENTITIES WITH COMPETITIVE GRANTS IN ITS QUEST TO CONSERVE, MAINTAIN, PROTECT AND RESTORE THE SOIL, FOREST, WATER AND OTHER NATURAL RESOURCES OF THE UNITED STATES AND OTHER LANDS; TO PROMOTE MEANS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC WITH RESPECT TO SUCH RESOURCES AND THEIR ENJOYMENT AND WHOLESOME UTILIZATION.

THE ORGANIZATION MAKES GRANTS AND LOANS TO GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSERVATION PROJECTS AND PUBLIC EDUCATION ABOUT OUR NATURAL RESOURCES. THERE WERE 19 RECIPIENTS OF 24 GRANTS DURING THE YEAR.
