THE FOUNDATION MAINTAINED AND IMPROVED THE LANDS OWNED BY THE FOUNDATION TO RESTORE THEM TO AND PRESERVE THEIR NATURAL STATE AND TO IMPROVE BOTANICAL/HORTICULTURAL USEFULNESS.


THE FOUNDATION UTILIZED THE GREENHOUSE/CONSERVATORY FOR GROWING PLANTS AND OTHER BOTANICAL SPECIMENS TO BE USED FOR EDUCATIONAL & BOTANICAL/HORTICULTURAL PURPOSES.


THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTS SEVERAL SEMINARS/CLASSES ON SITE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE CHICAGO BOTANIC GARDENS AND GARDEN CONSERVANCY COVERING THE STUDY OF LAND/PLANTS. THE FOUNDATION IS CONDUCTING EXPERIMENTAL GROWING TECHNICS FOR NATIVE CROPS WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF LOYOLA UNIVERSITY AND THE CHICAGO BOTANIC GARDERN. IN PERSON ACTIVITIES WERE SUSPENDED FOR 2021 DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC.


THE FOUNDATION RENOVATES, REPAIRS AND MAINTAINS IT'S BUILDING FOR USE AS EDUCATIONAL CLASSROOMS, GREENHOUSE ACCESS, OFFICES AND LABS FOR SEMINARS, RESEARCH AND OTHER HORTICULTURAL USES RELATED TO STUDY & PRESERVATION OF NATIVE LANDS AND PLANTS.
