IN RELATION TO THE CHAMBER'S EDUCATION OBJECTIVES, THE CHAMBER HELD FORTY-NINE EVENTS FOR THE MEMBERS.IN RELATION TO THE CHAMBER'S NETWORKING OBJECTIVES, THE CHAMBER HELD TWENTY-THREE EVENTS AND A GOLF OUTING. ALSO, THE CHAMBER MAINTAINED TWO LEADS GROUPS THAT MET ON A WEEKLY BASIS AND A NON-PROFIT FORUM THAT MET ON A MONTHLY BASIS.IN RELATION TO THE CHAMBER'S BUSINESS PROMOTION OBJECTIVES, THE CHAMBERS ONLINE BUSINESS DIRECTORY AVERAGED OVER 2,000 HITS PER MONTH, PUBLISHED AND DISTRIBUTED A MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY TO 13,000 LOCAL ADDRESSES AND CONDUCTED THIRTY-THREE RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONIES FOR NEW BUSINESSES. THE CHAMBER HONORED A CHAMBER MEMBER FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY AT OUR ANNUAL HARVEST CELEBRATION. THE CHAMBER PARTNERED WITH THE CITY OF BATAVIA AND BATAVIA MAINSTREET TO PROMOTE RESTAURANT MADNESS WEEK TO PROMOTE DINING/PICKUP FROM LOCAL RESTAURANTS IN OUR COMMUNITY.SOME OTHER ACTIVITIES THE CHAMBER WAS INVOLVED IN CONSISTED OF RESPONDING TO BUSINESSES AND FAMILIES CONSIDERING MOVING TO THE AREA, RESPONDING TO OTHER INFORMATION REQUESTS, LOCAL BUSINESS REFERRALS, PROVIDING A NEWSLETTER AND PRESS RELEASES AND SUPPORTING THE CITY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS.
