TO COORDINATE A LOCAL EFFORT IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE INCIDENCE AND SEVERITY OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN JENNINGS COUNTY.

OUTREACH PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE TYPES OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/ABUSE AND THE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO THOSE AFFECTED. THE PROGRAM REACHED 172 CLIENTS DURING 2023.
SHELTER PROGRAM PROVIDES A SAFE HAVEN FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. DURING 2023, THE SHELTER SERVED CLIENTS FOR A TOTAL OF 18 SHELTER NIGHTS.
PREVENTION PROGRAM PROVIDES INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY REGARDING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE. IN 2023, THE PROGRAMS WERE ATTENDED BY 285 STUDENTS AND 4 COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
