THE SHELBY COUNTY CHAMBER ADVOCATES FOR A PRO-BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, SUPPORTS THE SUCCESS OF ITS MEMBERS, WHILE WORKING WITH NETWORK PARTNERS TO DRIVE OUR COUNTY FORWARD AS A HIGHLY DESIRABLE COMMUNITY IN WHICH TO WORK, LIVE AND PLAY.

THE EXEMPT PURPOSES OF THE CHAMBER WERE ACHIEVED THROUGH CONDUCTING PROGRAMS THAT FOSTER THE WELFARE AND PROSPERITY OF ALL SHELBY COUNTY CITIZENS AND BUSINESSES. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE BUSINESS NET-WORKING EVENTS, ACADEMIC AWARDS PROGRAMS, ANNUAL RECOGNITION OF OUTSTANDING MEN AND WOMEN COMMUNITY BUSINESS LEADERS AND THE SPONSORSHIP OF MANY OTHER BUSINESS TRAINING AND FOCUS GROUPS.THE LEADERSHIP SHELBY COUNTY PROGRAM, RELAUNCHED IN 2015, CONTINUES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM OFFERING PARTICIPANTS LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SHELBY COUNTY.OUR ANNUAL AWARDS GALA HAS BECOME AN IMPORTANT COMMUNITY EVENT WHERE DESERVING MEMBERS ARE RECOGNIZED AND HONORED FOR THEIR COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTIONS.THE CHAMBER ALSO CONDUCTS NON-FEE LEGISLATIVE UPDATES, AVAILABLE NOT ONLY TO CHAMBER MEMBERS BUT TO THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY AS WELL. THESE UPDATES ARE SPONSORED LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEONS WITH OUR REPRESENTATIVES IN ATTENDANCE.
