PANGEA GIVING SUPPORTS GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS GLOBALLY TO IMPROVE THE WELL-BEING OF THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH ENGAGED GIVING.

IN 2022, PANGEA GIVING MADE 13 GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN EAST AFRICA, LATIN AMERICA, AND SOUTHEAST ASIA. FINANCIAL SUPPORT WAS ALSO PROVIDED FOR AN IN-PERSON CONVENING OF THE EAST AFRICA LEADERSHIP FORUM, A PARTICIPANT-LED WORKSHOP FOR PANGEA PARTNERS FOCUSING ON LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. PANGEA GIVING MEMBERS WERE NOT ABLE TO CONDUCT IN-PERSON SITE VISITS IN 2022 BECAUSE OF ONGOING COVID-19 TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS. HOWEVER, VIRTUAL SITE VISITS AND MEETINGS WERE CONDUCTED WITH GRANT PARTNERS IN CAMBODIA, LAOS, GUATEMALA, AND UGANDA, AS WELL AS WITH PANGEA ADVISORS FROM KENYA AND GUATEMALA. IN ADDITION, FREQUENT CONTACT WITH GRANT PARTNERS WAS MAINTAINED THROUGH PHONE CALLS AND ONLINE COMMUNICATION.
