HOUSE OF UKRAINE IS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS. OUR ANNUAL PROGRAMS, MOSTLY FREE TO THE PUBLIC INCLUDE 1) OPEN EXHIBITS EVERY WEEKEND AND SOME WEEKDAYS (AVERAGE 15/HRS PER WEEK) TO PARK VISITORS, 2) FREE CULTURAL PROGRAMS OF TRADITIONAL DANCE, MUSIC, SONG ON OPEN STAGE AT HPR, 3) PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL ETHNIC FOOD SALES UNDER HPR, 4) FOLKART CLASSES AND SPECIAL EXHIBITS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, MOSTLY FREE BUT SOME WITH NOMINAL CHARGES, 5) OPEN MUSEUM FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN VISITS, LECTURES AND PARTICIPATE IN OTHER INTERNAL CULTURE FAIRS AND EVENTS.DUE TO THE FULL-SCALE RUSSIAN INVASION, THE NEED FOR HUMANITARIAN RELIEF IN UKRAINE INCREASED SIGNIFICANTLY. AT THE SAME TIME, THERE WAS OUTPOURING OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND IN-KIND DONATIONS FROM THE SAN DIEGO COMMUNITIES IN RESPONSE. HOUSE OF UKRAINES VOLUNTEERS WORK DILIGENTLY TO GATHER AND TRANSPORT LARGE AMOUNTS OF HUMANITARIAN AID WHICH INCLUDES MEDICAL SUPPLIES, EVACUATION VEHICLES, GENERATORS AND OTHER NEEDED AID TO UKRAINE TO PRESERVE LIVES, D

HUMANITARIA RELIEF PROGRAM INCLUDES PROVIDING HUMANITARIAN AID (MEDICAL SUPPLIES, GENERATORS, EVACUATION VEHICLES ETC) TO UKRAINE TO PRESERVE LIVES, DEMOCRACY AND CULTURAL HERITAGE. TRANSPORTATION FOR HUMANITARIAN AID AND SUPPORTS TO REFUGEES IN THE COMMUNITIES.


ONGOING PROGRAMS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS INCLUDES OPEN MUSEUM THAT RUNS ON EVERY WEEKEND AND SOME WEEKDAYS TO PARK VISITORS;FREE CULTURAL PROGRAMS OF TRADITIONAL DANCE; MUSIC AND SONGS ON OPEN STAGE AT HPR; PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL ETHNIC FOOD SALES; FOLK ART CLASSES AND SPECIAL EXHIBITS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS.
