THE FEDERATION BRINGS TOGETHER REPRESENTATIVES OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS WITH OTHERS INTERESTED IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF HOUSING FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME PERSONS IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY TO MUTUALLY ASSIST IN THE ACCOMPLISHMENT OF COMMON GOALS.

THE FEDERATION PARTICIPATED AND ACTED AS THE ORGANIZER OF A CROSS PUBLIC POLICY COALITION OF ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TO IMPROVE THE EQUITY, SUSTAINABILITY AND ECONOMIC PROSPERITY OF THE SAN DIEGO REGION THROUGH LAND USE CHANGES AND IMPROVED ALLOCATION OF PUBLIC RESOURCES. 2. THE FEDERATION BROUGHT TOGETHER REPRESENTATIVES OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS WITH OTHERS INTERESTED IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS OF HOUSING FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME PERSONS IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY BY COORDINATING EVENTS SUCH AS SEMINARS AND MEETINGS. 3. THE FEDERATION PROVIDED UP TO THE DATE INFORMATION RESOURCES, INCLUDING MONTHLY AND WEEKLY NEWSLETTERS, AND REPRESENTATION IN VARIOUS FORUMS TO ENSURE THAT THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITY IS FULLY INFORMED AND REPRESENTED BROADLY IN MATTERS AFFECTING THE INDUSTRY.
