THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO CHANGE THE PROSPECTS FOR THOSE AT-RISK OF BEING LEFT BEHIND.

SUPPORT PROVIDED FOR THE SET UP AND IMPLEMENTATION OF HELP YOURSELF ACADEMIES ASSOCIATED WITH COLLEGE CAMPUSES. ACADEMIES CAN BE FOUND ON FOUR COLLEGE CAMPUSES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES WITH MULTIPLE PROGRAMS ON EACH CAMPUS.


TRAINING TO UNEMPLOYED OR UNDEREMPLOYED PARTICIPANTS WAS PROVIDED IN FOUR AREAS INCLUDING 1)EDUCATION NECESSARY TO RECEIVE A HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENT DEGREE (GED), 2) LIFE SKIIS TRAINING 3) EDUCATION NECESSARY TO RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF EMPLOYABILITY, AN OSHA CARD (ALLOWING THEM TO WORK ON CONSTRUCTION SITES), AND NCCER TRAINING, AND 4) CONSTRUCTION SKILLS TRAINING (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DRY-WALLING, TAPING, PAINTING, FRAMING). SIX PARTICIPANTS GRADUATED IN 2022 BRINGING THE OVERALL GRADUATION RATE TO 28%.
