DEDICATED TO PROVIDING HUMAN SERVICES THROUGH ELIMINATION OF ILLITERACY AND HEALTH DISPARITIES SUCH AS HIV/AIDS AMONG AFRICAN AMERICANS OF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS THROUGH LEADERSHIP, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, AND COLLABORATION.

DURING THE YEAR, BROTHER JEFF'S CULTURAL CENTER PROVIDED FOR SUPPORT GROUPS FOR INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH HIV AND AIDS; PROVIDED WORKSHOPS FOR SCHOOLS, ORGANIZATIONS AND HEALTH PROFESSIONALS; DISTRIBUTED CASES OF HIV PREVENTION PAMPHLETS AND MATERIALS; AND, PROVIDED FREE HIV TESTING AND REFERRALS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. DISTRIBUTED 65,000 MEALS AND FOOD BOXES DURING THE PANDEMIC FOR PEOPLE IN NEED. THE CENTER ALSO PROVIDED COVID 19 EDUCATION AND TRAINING THROUGHOUT 2021.
