THE FOUNDATION, THROUGH STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS, PROVIDES FUNDING FOR RESEARCH GRANTS DESIGNED TO ADVANCE THE FIELD OF ORGAN TRANSPLANTATION. RESEARCH GRANTS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE SOCIETY'S MEMBERS AND THEIR TRAINEES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. SINCE THE PROGRM'S INCEPTION, OVER 300 PEOPLE HAVE RECEIVED MORE THAN $13M IN RESEARCH GRANT FUNDING. IN 2021, THE ASTS FOUNDATION AWARDED $899K IN GRANT FUNDING TO 32 RECIPIENTS.
