PROVIDING THRIFT GOODS TO THE DISADVANTAGED, SANS SOUCI INC. (WITHOUT WORRY) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE GOAL IS TO ASSIST OUR NEIGHBORS ATTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SELF SUFFICIENT FAMILY ENVIRONMENT WITHIN A DIVERSE, YET INTEGRATED COMMUNITY. SAN SOUCI JOINS HANDS WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO HELP PEOPLE FIND THEIR PLACE IN THE COMMUNITY OFFERING FREE ASSISTANCE WHEN NEEDED AND PROVIDING A FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT, LOW-COST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE WHILE MAINTAINING THE DIGNITY OF CUSTOMERS NOT ABLE TO SHOP ELSEWHERE.

THE AGENCY RECEIVES DONATIONS OF CLOTHING, HOUSEHOLD GOODS, FURNITURE ETC. TO PROVIDE LOW OR NO-COST OPTIONS TO THOSE IN NEED. IN 2022, THE STORE AVERAGED 231 CUSTOMERS PER DAY. IN 2022, THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 357 VOLUNTEERS WHO PROVIDED 1,863.18 VOLUNTEER HOURS ASSISTING THE STAFF IN RECEIVING, SORTING AND STOCKING DONATIONS. CLOTHING, SHOES, STEEL TOE BOOTS AND WINTER COATS WERE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO 2,289 UNDUPLICATED INDIVIDUALS, A TOTAL $67,668. RECYCLING EFFORTS TO ALLEVIATE TRASH EXPENSE GENERATED OVER $13,800 IN INCOME. THE AGENCY PAID FOR SEVEN INDIVIDUALS TESTING FEES TO OBTAIN THEIR HSE. $1,785 FROM GRANTS WAS USED FOR EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT/TRAINING FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES.
