THE RALEIGH COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITES TO THE 75 MEMBERS WHO ARE HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS (DOCTORS, PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT, NURSE PRACTIONERS, NURSES). THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY BRINGING IN SPEAKERS FROM DIFFERNET FIELDS OF MEDICINE AND PROVIDING CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE OVERALL GOAL IS TO INCREASE COMPETENCE OF THE MEDICAL PROVIDERS IN OUR COMMUNITY TO IN TURN IMPROVE PERFORMANCE AND PATIENT OUTCOMES.
