THE KENTUCKY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION PROVIDES PHYSICIAN ADVOCACY THROUGH GOVERNMENTAL INTERACTION, LEGAL INTERVENTION, AND PUBLIC EDUCATION, AS WELL AS PROVIDING PHYSICIAN EDUCATION THROUGH PERIODIC WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS, AN ANNUAL CONVENTION WITH EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, AND VARIOUS PUBLICATIONS.

ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES: THE KMA PROVIDES PHYSICIAN ADVOCACY THROUGH LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES AND LOBBYING FOR PHYSICIAN INTERESTS WITH THE STATE LEGISLATURE, AND THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION ACTIVITIES.


ANNUAL CONVENTION: THE KMA PROVIDES PHYSICIAN EDUCATION AND INTERACTION BY WAY OF EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND OTHER MEETINGS AT AN ANNUAL CONVENTION.


COMMUNICATION: THE KMA PROVIDES TIMELY INFORMATION ABOUT HEALTH CARE NEWS AND TRENDS TO PHYSICIANS IN KENTUCKY THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA AND ELECTRONIC AND PRINT COMMUNICATIONS. THE KMA USES THOSE COMMUNICATION PLATFORMS TO PROVIDE IMPORTANT PUBLIC HEALTH INFORMATION TO PHYSICIANS AND THE PUBLIC.
